Sustainable
Sustainable design is woven into all of our projects at T&S Structural Engineers. Here are some especially great examples of our sustainable thinking in action.
Trimet Terminus Solar
By working closely with REC Solar we were able to produce an elegant sub-structure that was both structurally feasible for construction but was also compliant with the architect's original vision.
Kappa Ground Mount
This 1.21 MW ground mounted photovoltaic system is the largest of its kind in the state of Hawaii and the first installation to occur in Kauai.
Reno VA Solar Panel
T&S Structural Engineers evaluated the existing structure for the addition of the solar panel shading to the Reno VA parking structure.
Ikea
This 114,000 square foot, 912 kW PV array consists of 3,780 panels.
Aquafil
This 1,572 solar panel roof mount is Georgia’s largest solar photovoltaic.
Solfocus
T&S Structural Engineers designed this 1.0 MW system was installed throughout 5 schools in the Westside Union School District.
SMOOE Straw Bale Building
T&S Structural engineered the straw bale building for the San Mateo Outdoor Education Program.
Central Coast ICF Res.
The structural system for this Pismo Beach residence was Integrated Concrete Formwork. Making the project particularly challenging was a series of multiple window and door penetrations along with a wedding-cake type floor plan system.
The Lofts on Laurel
This small, seven-home eco-village was designed with sustainability and the efficient use of resources as its main objective.
