Outreach

As T&S Structural works to create structures that are soundly engineered, it also works to contribute to the structure of its community. Its team of engineers is always there to lend a hand to organizations working to provide opportunities to those in need. From assisting the staff members of the SLO County EOC to supporting the Maxine Lewis Memorial Shelter to volunteering for Habitat for Humanity, T&S Structural is a company that believes in giving back.

  • Habitat for Humanity: T&S is heading up the structural engineering of a new Habitat for Humanity project in San Luis Obispo. The project consists of two homes and T&S Structural's Nathan White is the Engineer of Record for both. It is a wonderful opportunity to volunteer time and participate in a worthwhile community project.
  • Access Support Network: T&S provided structural plans for the Gazebo in the AIDS Living Memorial Grove. The open trellis structure features a playful geometry and supports beautiful mature grapevines. The Grove is an ongoing planting and development project of the AIDS Support Network.
  • The Wellness Community: T&S Structural donated services to the renovation of a URM building in Paso Robles, creating the Central Coast Cancer Center for this non-profit organization dedicated to providing free emotional support, education, and hope for people with cancer and their loved ones.
  • In addition to our staff volunteering for build days on various Habitat for Humanity projects, T&S Structural has also been able to provide structural engineering services for Habitat for Humanity projects in San Luis Obispo County. Additionally, we have co-sponsored fundraising events to support this amazing organization that helps build homes for those who could otherwise not afford to house.
