The Phase 1 renovation of the 64,000 sq. ft. facility focused on correcting several existing deficiencies in the building, including failing roofing systems, drainage systems, windows, skylights, and deteriorating concrete on the exterior walls. Subsequent Phases 2 and 3 included upgrades to the main hangar area's maintenance stations, electrical, mechanical, and fire suppression systems, and complete reconstruction of the four 100 ft. wide vertical-lift main hangar doors.
